  • Lead Law Changes That Realtors® Need to Know

    On December 1, 2017 the Massachusetts Department of Public Health made some changes to the Lead Law that all Realtors® should be familiar with. The changes impact deleading standards as well as the standards for lead poisoning in children. The Massachusetts lead law currently states that homes built before 1978, whether tenant or owner-occupied, must be brought into compliance with the lead law if children under the age of six live there.
